RCAC will be closed for all walk-in visits on Wednesday, May 23rd. We apologize for any inconveniences.
Rochester Community Animal Clinic (RCAC) is primarily a walk-in veterinary clinic available to all pet owners, regardless of their income level.
In addition to walk-in hours, wellness/vaccine appointments are available on a weekly basis for pets needing only vaccines and routine testing (such as Heartworm, Feline Leukemia Virus, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus blood tests).
Wellness and outpatient care services are available to kittens, puppies, and adult or senior cats and dogs.
RCAC is NOT a full-service veterinary hospital, and cannot treat critical care cases such as broken bones or injuries that require X-rays or emergency surgery.
- Internal and External Parasite Testing and Prevention (heartworm, roundworm, tapeworm, whipworm, fleas, ticks, mites, etc.)
- Blood, Urine, and Fecal Screenings
- Behavioral and Nutritional Guidance
- Minor Injuries (such as cuts and abrasions)
- Skin Problems
- Ear and Eye Infections
- Upper Respiratory Infections
High-quality spay/neuter surgery appointments are also available to low-income pet owners who meet eligibility criteria, approved rescue and adoption organizations, and feral cat caregivers within our community.
For all critical emergencies, such as breathing problems, broken bones, bloat, uterine infections, dental problems, pregnancy or delivery complications, foreign bodies, or anything else requiring x-rays, please call your regular/full-service veterinarian or Veterinary Specialists & Animal Emergency Service at (585) 424-1277.
